Common Duties

Litter Picking – This can often be hard and tiring work but with the right attitude each shift can be a fun as you want to make it. You will be working in teams of various sizes and will have a team leader on each shift. Where appropriate, litter pickers are provided. Litter is picked up and placed into plastic bags. The plastic bags are then stacked ready for placing in dustcarts or skips.

Recycling Staff – This role would involve using a selected number of staff to promote recycling by handing out recycling bags, explaining the waste streams and/or collecting recyclable materials.

Dustcart Loaders – This work is only allocated to responsible and competent staff who will in turn, be trained to load waste into refuse vehicles. This can be hard and tiring work.

VIP Cleaners – On occasions, NuKleen Services are asked to supply cleaning and litter picking staff to VIP Areas. Staff allocated to this work need to be punctual, smartly dressed and professional as we need to maintain the highest of standards in these areas.

Health And Safety

NuKleen Services take Health & Safety very seriously. All staff and volunteers are required to read, understand and acknowledge our Health & Safety Policy as part of the application process. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be provided to all staff and volunteers at the beginning of their shift.
