Crime and Personal Safety
Unfortunately, Festivals can be a hive of criminal activity. With a bit of common sense and some simple precautions you can reduce the risk tenfold. Our advice to you for a fun a memorable festival experience is as follows: -
- Do not bring valuables unless absolutely necessary. IPods, MP3 Player etc are not essential.
- Keep your money on you at all times and split it into different pockets/bags.
- Do not leave valuables in your tent and/or insight of others.
- Charge your phone on a daily basis to that it is ready for use. . . should you need it.
- Familiarise yourself with the location of the Welfare Tent and Police Tent. They are there to help.
